Poolghata Pool
Details

The Poolghata brick pool has connected the Paniam Polaghata and Abdullapur village on the Mirakadim canal on the ancient and extinct Bikrampur Metropolis. The exact construction time and founder of the bridge cannot be discovered, but it is assumed that it was built during the era of the king ballal sen in the 17th century during the Mugal period. The bridge was of three arches and lime and brick-dust were used in making of it.

Munshiganj city is 7km southwest of Tongibari and 7 km northwest of the main bridge. The bow-shaped brick-pool  is 52.42 meters long. The prototype of the bridge has become very much dissipated due to its renovation time to time. The Department of Archeology of the Government of Bangladesh is currently maintaining the bridge.
